Truist Park in Atlanta, GA

Truist Park runs one of the strictest bag rules in sports, so pack light for a concert here. The only bag that gets in is a small single-compartment clutch or clear bag no larger than 5 by 9 inches, and it does not have to be clear at that size. Backpacks are banned outright, and anything bigger than the 5 by 9 limit is turned away unless it is a medical bag. Each ticketed guest can still carry one factory-sealed plastic water bottle and one gallon-size clear bag of food. The ballpark, in the Battery entertainment district northwest of Atlanta, applies this to Braves games and to its concerts, though a tour can tighten it further, so check your event page before you go. If you arrive with too much, Smart lockers near the parking decks rent storage for a fee. Bottom line, a 5 by 9 clutch, a sealed water, and a small bag of food are the way in.

Getting there

Gates open

Concert gate times vary by show and are on your event page. Every bag is inspected, so arrive early with a compliant clutch.

Parking

The Battery's decks and lots surround the park, and prepaid parking beats paying at the gate on a sold-out night. Traffic on the I-285 and I-75 interchange backs up, so leave early.

Public transit

There is no rail to the park. CobbLinc buses and event shuttles serve the Battery, but most guests drive in from around metro Atlanta.

Rideshare

Use the Battery's designated rideshare zones and expect a wait after big shows as the decks clear.
