Dodger Stadium
Los Angeles, CA · Stadium
You can bring a bag into a Dodger Stadium concert only if it is a clear plastic bag no bigger than 12 x 12 x 6 inches or a small non-clear clutch no bigger than 5 x 8 x 2 inches. Backpacks, beach bags, coolers, and regular purses are turned away at the gate, with diaper bags for infants and adult diaper bags the main exceptions. The Dodgers are unusually friendly to outside food, so snacks in your clear bag are fine along with factory-sealed plastic bottles of non-alcoholic drinks up to 1 liter. Empty refillable bottles up to 1 liter with no glass parts also get in. The stadium sits on a hilltop above downtown Los Angeles with no bag check and no re-entry, so a rejected bag means a long walk back to your car. Concerts run on the same standing policy as game days, but a tour can tighten the rules for its own show, so check your event page before you leave home. Pack a clear stadium bag or a tiny clutch, sealed water, and a snack, and you will walk right in.

Adult diaper bags and diaper bags that accompany an infant are the official exceptions, and they do not need to be clear. If you have a medical need beyond what a small bag covers, contact the Dodgers before the event so gate staff expect you.

No bag that fits? Plan ahead
Dodger Stadium has no bag check, no lockers, and no place to leave a non-compliant bag at the gate. Your realistic options are leaving it in your car or using a third-party storage service in downtown Los Angeles before you head up the hill. Re-entry is not permitted, so sort your bag out before you arrive.
Common questions
Does Dodger Stadium require a clear bag?
Yes for anything bigger than a small clutch. Clear plastic bags up to 12 x 12 x 6 inches get in, and the only non-clear options are a wristlet or clutch no bigger than 5 x 8 x 2 inches or a diaper bag accompanying an infant.
What size bag can I bring to a concert at Dodger Stadium?
The same sizes as any Dodgers game. A clear bag up to 12 x 12 x 6 inches or a non-clear clutch up to 5 x 8 x 2 inches, and every bag gets searched at the gate.
Can I bring food or a water bottle into Dodger Stadium?
Yes. Outside food is allowed in a clear bag up to 12 x 12 x 6 inches, factory-sealed plastic bottles of non-alcoholic drinks up to 1 liter get in, and so do empty refillable bottles up to 1 liter with no glass parts. Glass, cans, thermoses, and alcohol stay outside.
What changes for stadium concerts at Dodger Stadium?
The bag rules stay the same, since the Dodgers publish one policy for every event. Door times, gate assignments, and camera rules can change from show to show, and a tour can add its own restrictions, so read your event page and ticket email before heading up the hill.
Is there a bag check at Dodger Stadium?
No. If your bag fails the size check you will be sent back, and with no lockers on site your options are your car or an off-site storage service downtown.
Getting there
Gates open
Parking gates open about 2.5 hours before first pitch on game days and stadium gates about 2 hours before. Concert gate times vary by show and are listed on your event page. The Centerfield Plaza is the main pedestrian entrance.
Parking
On-site lots ring the stadium at the top of the hill, and the team recommends prepaid parking bought in advance over paying on arrival. Accessible parking is available in lots B, D, F, G, K, L, N, and P. Tailgating is not allowed.
Public transit
The Dodger Stadium Express bus is free with an event ticket and runs from Union Station downtown, with a second route from the Harbor Gateway Transit Center, dropping off near the Centerfield Plaza. No train reaches the stadium directly.
Rideshare
Uber is the official rideshare partner, and the pickup and drop-off zone is in Lot 1 with cars entering through Gate B. Expect slow exits after a sellout show.
