Bag Policy Details
Wells Fargo Center enforces a clear bag policy across all public events. Guests are allowed to bring a clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bag that does not exceed 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches. The bag must be fully see-through with no patterns or tinted sections that could hide contents.
In addition to a clear bag, guests may also carry a small clutch bag or wallet, which does not have to be clear, but must not be larger than 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches. These small bags are intended for items like a phone, wallet, or keys.
All bags are inspected at security checkpoints before you are allowed to enter.
What Is Not Allowed
Oversized bags are not permitted. This includes:
Backpacks
Large purses
Laptop bags
Duffel bags
Camera bags
Coolers
If your bag is larger than the size limits or does not meet the clear bag rule, it will not be accepted. Wells Fargo Center does not offer lockers or a bag check. Guests with non-approved bags will be asked to return them to their vehicle.
Medical bags and diaper bags are the only exceptions and are subject to inspection.
Additional Prohibited Items
In addition to the bag restrictions, the following items are also not allowed:
Outside food and beverages
Glass bottles and metal containers
Weapons or items that could be considered weapons
Laser pointers
Large umbrellas
Selfie sticks
Professional cameras with detachable lenses
Items that can block views or disrupt the event
Bag Tips for Smooth Entry
To avoid delays, choose a simple clear bag that meets the size requirements. A clear tote or crossbody bag works well. If you prefer not to carry a clear bag, bring a small clutch that meets the size restriction. Keep your belongings limited to essentials for a faster inspection process.
Concert Seating Chart Overview
Seating at Wells Fargo Center depends on the event. Concerts typically use an end-stage layout, placing the stage at one end of the arena with reserved floor seating extending from the stage across the arena floor. These seats offer the closest views of the performance.
The lower bowl surrounds the floor area and offers a raised view of the stage from different angles. These seats are popular for fans who want a good view without sitting on the floor.
The upper bowl provides a full view of the stage and arena from a higher perspective. Due to the design of Wells Fargo Center, these seats still offer solid sightlines and are often a more affordable choice.
Premium seating includes suites and club seats, which offer additional space, private restrooms, and upgraded amenities.
Each event may use different stage setups. Some shows may feature a center-stage design or extended runways that change the arrangement of floor seats. Always review the event-specific seating chart before purchasing tickets to understand where your seats will be located.
Before You Head to the Event
Measure your bag and confirm it meets the clear bag policy before leaving home. Limit what you bring to essential items. Give yourself plenty of time for security screening when you arrive.
By following the Wells Fargo Center’s bag policy and security rules, you can avoid delays and focus on enjoying your concert or event as soon as you walk through the door.
