Radio City Music Hall
New York, NY · Theater
Radio City Music Hall follows the shared MSG Entertainment bag rule, so any bag you bring must be no larger than 22 by 14 by 9 inches and has to fit comfortably under your seat. Your bag does not have to be clear, which sets this venue apart from stadiums, though a clear bag still speeds up the security line since guards can see inside without opening it. The important catch is that anything larger than 22 by 14 by 9 inches is simply not allowed in, and there is no bag check to hold it, so an oversized bag means a trip back to your hotel or car. Every bag goes through security screening and may be searched. This is a standing MSG policy rather than a per show rule, but individual shows can add their own restrictions, so check your event page if you are carrying anything unusual. What gets in is a normal purse, tote, or backpack under the size cap, an empty clear soft plastic bottle you can refill inside, and a phone for texting between acts.

Getting there
Gates open
Entrances are on 6th Avenue between 50th and 51st Streets through the Box Office Lobby, which is the accessible entrance, plus doors on 50th Street and 51st Street just east of 6th Avenue. All bags are screened at the door.
Parking
Radio City Music Hall has no parking of its own. Several commercial garages sit within a few blocks in Midtown, but spaces fill fast on event nights, so book ahead if you plan to drive.
Public transit
The 47-50 Streets Rockefeller Center subway station, served by the B, D, F, and M trains, has an entrance right next to the marquee on 6th Avenue. The 7th Avenue and Broadway lines at 49th and 50th Streets are also a short walk away.
Rideshare
Uber and Lyft pickups and drop-offs work best along 6th Avenue or on 51st Street near the venue. Expect heavy traffic and slow curbside access right before and after shows, so allow extra time.
