Grand Casino Arena
Saint Paul, MN · Arena
Grand Casino Arena in downtown St. Paul, the home of the Minnesota Wild and the rink long known as Xcel Energy Center, runs a two-tier bag rule. A purse up to 12 by 12 by 6 inches, clear or not, can come in through designated X-ray entry points. A small wristlet, clutch, or wallet up to 4 by 6 by 1.5 inches clears every entrance and only gets a quick inspection.
Backpacks, coolers, and large totes are turned away, and the arena strongly encourages fans to leave bags at home for a faster line. Medical and parenting bags are welcome and go through X-ray. Cameras with a detachable lens or any lens longer than 3.5 inches are prohibited, along with recording devices and large electronics, though the Wild allow tablets for hockey games.
