Delta Center in Salt Lake City does not allow bags or purses beyond a small clutch. The only bag you can carry is a clutch or wallet no bigger than 4 by 6 by 2 inches, clear or not. That covers Utah Jazz games, Utah Hockey Club games, and concerts.
The exception is for families and medical needs. Diaper bags and medical bags up to 14 by 14 by 6 inches are allowed, and every bag is searched and x-rayed at Door 5. There is no bag check, so anything larger than the little clutch has to stay in the car. TRAX light rail stops right outside at the Arena station.

Getting there
Gates open
Doors usually open 90 minutes before Jazz and Utah Hockey Club games and 60 to 90 minutes before concerts.
Parking
Downtown Salt Lake City garages and lots surround the arena, with prepaid parking the easy option. The Gateway district sits right next door.
Public transit
TRAX light rail stops at the Arena station right outside the building, the easiest way in from across the Salt Lake Valley.
Rideshare
Uber and Lyft use a designated zone near the arena. Follow staff signage after the event.
