Darien Lake Amphitheater, next to the theme park between Buffalo and Rochester, runs a clear bag policy. You can bring a clear plastic or vinyl tote no bigger than 12 by 6 by 12 inches, plus a small clutch up to 6 by 9 inches that does not have to be clear. Food is fine in a clear bag, and you can bring water.
The venue no longer offers bag check at the gates, so a non-approved bag has to go back to the car. On the lawn-friendly side, umbrellas, blankets, and non-aerosol sunscreen or bug spray are allowed, and nonprofessional cameras are fine. Coolers, lawn chairs, and outside alcohol stay home.
