Ascend Amphitheater on the Nashville riverfront runs a clear bag policy. Your main bag has to be a clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC tote no bigger than 12 by 6 by 12 inches, and you can add a small clutch up to 6 by 9 inches that does not have to be clear. One factory-sealed water bottle is fine, but no other outside food or drinks.
Backpacks, coolers, and chains all stay home, including wallet chains and chain straps. Strollers are out too, since there is nowhere to store them. There is no bag check, so a non-approved bag has to go back to the car. The venue sits a short walk from Lower Broadway along the Cumberland River.
